yume speaks: The Rape of Innocence

I think there is no greater manifestation of evil as when an individual wickedly tramples and abuses an innocent child. I have very strong feelings about maliciously hurting children in any form perhaps that's why I am not a fan of BL's depicting children in mature and sexual situations as seen in Boku no Pico. I find it disturbing and apalling to see children romping around naked and engaging in sex.

Now, I understand it's merely an anime and is in no way real. It's not my place to judge if some people like to watch that sort of animation or if a few can watch it nonchalantly.


I'm very liberal and open-minded when it comes to animations and what kind people watch because I know it isn't real and I believe that others also know that there are things in anime that shouldn't or can't be done and replicated in real life. However, when you really get down to it, there are themes and concepts in anime that are universal and real. And I think that pedophilia, as you may all know, is real and it should not be condoned.

Animes like that do not depict the evil of pedophilia but rather it promotes it and implies that there's nothing wrong with it. It's like a stamp of approval for raping the innocent and an invitation for others to do it.When you expose somebody to sex at a young age and long before it is time for them to know about it, you are raping innocence. For me, it's like defiling an angel. :(
